Choose the right kind of personalization
| Setting | Use it for |
|---|---|
Name | What Bidlo AI should call you. |
Files | Documents the assistant should be able to reference across chats. |
Instructions | Writing style, working preferences, and context to apply across chats. |
Memory | Durable facts and preferences Bidlo AI has remembered about you. |
Skills | Reusable team-authored instructions for a specialized workflow. |
Use a prompt attachment or @ mention instead when the context belongs only to the current request.
Review memory
The Memory field shows what Bidlo AI remembers about you. Review it periodically and remove information that is no longer accurate or useful.
Add company terminology
Use Instructions for terms or preferences that should shape many chats. Give each term a short definition and, when useful, one example.
For a large reference document, add the document under Files instead of pasting the entire source into instructions.

FAQs
What belongs in memory instead of the current prompt?
Use memory for information you want Bidlo AI to apply repeatedly. For example: “Our team focuses on Texas civil projects, uses USD, and prefers bid summaries in a table.” For a one-time request, such as reviewing the plans for a specific project, attach the plans or @ mention the project in your prompt.
Should sensitive or temporary details be saved in memory?
No. Keep memory concise, current, and appropriate for reuse across future conversations.
