Interactive tables in Notes

Tables in Notes now work as an editing surface for plans, comparisons, handoffs, and simple trackers that belong beside the work they explain.

Interactive tables in Notes

Edit the table directly

Add and reorder rows or columns, resize columns, toggle headers, and use row or column menus for common actions without leaving the note.

Bring in spreadsheet data

Paste a grid from a spreadsheet and continue editing it in place. Text and background colors help separate headers, totals, and items that need attention.

Keep the layout intact

Column sizing, structure, and styling remain in place when you close and reopen the note.

Views improvements

3 changes

Views now give clearer formula feedback, show units, and filter through connected records.

  • Formula errors keep your edits in place — The formula editor stays open and points to the error. You can correct it without starting over.
  • Number fields show their units — Columns can show labels such as CY, tons, feet, or hours beside the field name.
  • Filters can check connected records — Filter by a connected project's county or status without selecting each project by hand.

 · Custom apps, Access and alerts

General improvements

2 changes

You can now open original records from custom apps and receive digest emails every hour.

  • Open original records from custom apps — Open the original record in the side panel or main view. The app stays open while you review it.
  • Choose hourly digest delivery — Digest emails are easier to scan and can arrive every hour when daily or weekly delivery is not frequent enough.

 · Workflows

Undo and redo across Bidlo Lite

Undo and redo now cover field edits, deletions, page moves, and view changes across Bidlo Lite—not only text in an editor.

Undo and redo across Bidlo Lite

Reverse the change where it happened

Use Ctrl+Z after you update a quantity, delete a record, move a page, or change a view. Bidlo Lite restores the previous state on the same screen.

Keep each tab's history separate

Every tab maintains its own undo stack. Reversing work in one project or view will not disturb the changes you made somewhere else.

 · Custom apps

Build custom apps inside Bidlo Lite

Describe the workflow you need, follow the build, and use the finished app beside the records it needs.

Build custom apps inside Bidlo Lite

Describe the app in plain language

Ask Bidlo Lite to build a dashboard, tracker, or other workflow. The build starts from the main chat bar, and the preview appears in the same workspace.

Return to earlier build threads

Previous build conversations remain available when you come back to an app. You can continue a line of work or review how an earlier decision shaped the current version.

 · Workflows

Project details, comments, and activity in one panel

Project pages now keep details, comments, and recent changes in one side panel. The project stays on screen while you review its context.

Project details, comments, and activity in one panel

Keep project context beside the work

Use the header to switch between Details, Comments, and Activity. The project remains visible while you review each tab.

Put important details first

Choose which fields appear in the panel. Estimators and operations teams can keep their most-used information close at hand.

 · Views and data

Field definitions in the data glossary

The data glossary now shows clear field definitions and sample values. You can check unfamiliar project data before you use it in a view or formula.

Field definitions in the data glossary

Understand a field before using it

Open the glossary to see what a field represents and the kind of value it contains. Examples make similarly named fields easier to distinguish when the source system is unfamiliar.

Choose the correct field

Use the definition and examples to tell similar fields apart. This reduces mistakes when you select a quantity, date, or project number.

 · Views and data

Views improvements

2 changes

Views now handle large summaries and incomplete date filters more reliably.

  • Large summaries finish more reliably — Large calculations and chart summaries have more time to finish during review.
  • Blank date filters stay out of the way — Views, filters, and charts remain available when one end of a date range is empty.

 · Workflows

A clearer AI model picker

The model picker groups options by provider, supports search, and shows reasoning controls where they apply, making speed-versus-depth choices easier to understand.

 · Workflows

Deep research in chat

Deep Research now shows its plan and each research step in chat. You can see what Bidlo Lite is checking while it works.

Deep research in chat

Ask a focused question

Choose Deep Research and describe the company, market, owner, or project you want to understand. A specific question gives the research a clear target.

Follow the work in chat

Bidlo Lite shows the plan, the records it checks, and the searches it runs. The final answer stays in the same conversation for later review.

 · Views and data

Timeline view

Timeline is now available as a view layout. It turns project dates into a schedule for bids, mobilization, and other milestones.

Timeline view

Turn project dates into a schedule

Open Layout, choose Timeline, then select the start and end date fields. Bidlo Lite places each project on the schedule.

Compare overlapping work

The wider time view makes handoffs and conflicts easier to see when several jobs or bid deadlines land near one another.

 · Custom apps

Version history for custom apps

Custom apps now keep working changes and saved versions. You can test an edit, save it when it is ready, or return to an earlier version.

Version history for custom apps

Save when the change is ready

App edits stay in Working changes until you save them. Use Save without publishing when you want a safe version that is not ready for the whole team.

Return to an earlier version

Open History to see each saved version. If a previous setup worked better, select it and continue from there.

 · Views and data

Sub-items in views

Related records can now sit beneath an expandable parent, keeping detailed work connected without flattening the entire view into one list.

 · Views and data

Highlight important records with color

Views can now color records when they match a rule. Overdue work, high-value bids, and missing information stand out while you scan the list.

Highlight important records with color

Build a rule from project data

Open the view settings, choose More, then select Conditional color. Choose the field and condition that Bidlo Lite should watch.

Find exceptions faster

Records that match the rule use your selected color. Other records stay unchanged, so the items that need attention are easier to find.

Move map data to other tools

Map views also have clearer layers and KML export. Use the export when you need the same locations in a field or planning tool.

 · Workflows, Views and data

General improvements

2 changes

Suggestions now use your contractor profile, and map controls stay clear while you work.

  • Suggestions reflect your contractor profile — Bidlo Lite uses basic company information to show more relevant work and research.
  • Map controls stay clear while you work — Controls move around chat and page actions instead of covering the map.

 · Custom apps

Sharing controls for custom apps

Custom apps now have clearer sharing controls. Invite specific teammates while you build, or publish the finished app for everyone on your team.

Sharing controls for custom apps

Share with the people who use the workflow

Open an app, choose Share, and select the audience that should have access. Role-specific estimating or operations tools can stay focused on the people who need them.

Keep the audience clear

The sharing panel explains who can open the app before you publish it. This helps teams keep work in progress with a small group until it is ready.

 · Views and data

Faster table setup and calculations

You can now add fields and formulas from the table header. Large tables also stay responsive while Bidlo Lite calculates the results.

Faster table setup and calculations

Add a field from the table

Open Fields, choose New field, and select the field type you need. For a formula, the editor shows the available project fields and examples beside your calculation.

Keep large tables moving

Column widths stay more consistent, and large calculations finish more reliably. You can keep reviewing the table while Bidlo Lite completes the work.

 · Workflows

Search and commands in one place

Search now finds records, documents, and common actions in one place. You can open the right project or start a task without moving through several menus.

Search and commands in one place

Find the work you need

Open Search from the sidebar and type a project, record, or document name. Results appear in the same palette, ready to open from the page you are already using.

Search also shows actions you can run. Choose the action from the results instead of opening another page to find the same control.
