Help us craft high-quality tools

We are building a new species of product tool. Will you help us make it better?

Built for people who build

Heavy civil contractors have long made million-dollar bidding decisions on gut instinct, tribal knowledge and manual processes. The data to do better has always existed. It has never been in one place.
Bidlo puts it there, combining deep industry expertise with modern AI to give every contractor an unfair advantage.
The team behind it comes from construction, data science and product design, and a few of us have done more than one. What we share is the belief that the people who build things deserve better tools than they have been given.

How we think

Bidlo’s mission is for heavy civil and public works projects to bid and build themselves. We operate on a set of core principles that keep us focused.
  1. 01.Unreasonable hospitalityWe join the customer's team and stay until Bidlo has paid for itself.
  2. 02.First principlesThe way it has always been done is not a reason to keep doing it.
  3. 03.Work your wayRemote, in the office or both. Choose the setup that gets your best work done.
  4. 04.Say it as it isGet to the point and assume good intentions.
  5. 05.Keep the team smallWe build better with fewer people. Wear multiple hats.
  6. 06.Ship earlySimplify and ship smaller.
  7. 07.Hire the best peopleThe best people hire the best people. Help recruit.

Still have questions?

We like hearing from people who are interested in the work, even when nothing is posted. Feedback, an idea, a question about how we build — write to us, or book half an hour with the team.
