Overview
Use Bidlo AI to ask questions, work with files and Bidlo records, and apply repeatable instructions from one conversation.
Start with a clear request
The Home prompt displays Ask anything (@ to search).... Enter the outcome you want and include enough context for Bidlo AI to understand the job.
Useful requests often include:
- the record, page, or file you want to use;
- the decision or output you need;
- any limits, format, or audience that should shape the answer.
For example, ask for a checklist based on a project file rather than asking only for a checklist. When the answer needs a specific Bidlo record, add it as context instead of relying on the title in your prompt.
Choose the right source of context
Bidlo AI can receive context in several ways:
- Add file attaches a file to the current prompt.
- Add Context lets you reference Bidlo documents and records with
@. - Files in AI personalization are documents you want available across chats.
- Memory stores durable facts and preferences about you.
- Skills provide reusable team-authored instructions.
- Web access lets the assistant use current information from the web.
These sources serve different jobs. Attach or mention something when it matters to the current request. Use personalization for context that should continue across conversations.
Keep control of changes
Ask Bidlo AI to explain what it found before requesting a change. For a high-impact task, identify the exact records and fields involved and review the proposed scope.
Some tools use an approval step before a protected action runs. Read the request carefully and approve only when the named action and target match your intent.
Check an answer
Treat an AI response as a working result that you can inspect and refine.
- Check that the response used the record, file, or time period you intended.
- Ask which source supports an important statement.
- Open the named Bidlo record or source link when the decision matters.
- Correct missing context and ask the question again.
If the answer should use current outside information, turn on Web access and say that the request requires current research.
